Social Engineering your progeny to be hackers

Hacking children is not social engineering or manipulation. It is the utter devotion of a parent to the creativity and spirit of acknowledging their own progenies' possibilities. What started as a game machine at age 4 has translated into a serious tool at age 14. Our kids have programming skills in 4 languages- network security knowledge- CEH knowledge- attended- held their own- and helped others at a PenTesting bootcamp (taught by Georgia Weidman). And the goal is not to force our kids into infosec careers or programming careers. The goal is to teach our kids the thinking and problem solving skills that accompany info sec and programming so that they can carry these skills with them into whatever career they choose. And- they should never have to work flipping burgers. This talk will go over some strategies garnered from decades of first person experience with raising four children- blending families- and attempting to keep things on track. What more could you learn from a tech head who is also a mom and more importantly what does it mean when you teach a kid to program at age 4?
